3 Ways to Start Investing Without Knowing Anything

Image
Introduction When it comes to investing, you don't need to be an expert. In fact, the best investors are the ones who know nothing—and then learn everything they can about their investments. But how do you get started without knowing much? Here are three ways that even beginners can start investing: 1. Be a sponsor for start-ups If you can't afford to invest in a startup yourself, consider becoming a sponsor. As a sponsor, you will receive equity in return for your investment and help guide the company as it grows. This is usually done through an agreement called an "equity distribution agreement," or EDA. The EDA details how much equity each investor receives and when their shares vest (become active). The first step is finding qualified companies: Startups that are looking for funds should make sure they meet certain criteria before approaching investors like yourself—including having founders with previous experience running successful startups; being on track fi

6 things every bloggers should do.

Introduction I've been a blogger for about three years now, and I've learned so much about blogging. The more you write, the better you get at it. If you want to be a good blogger, keep writing and reading others' work! Here are five things every blogger should do: 1. Write. Writing is a critical skill for bloggers. It's not just about getting your blog up and running but keeping it going, too. Write about what you know! If you're a baker or cook, write about baking and cooking—not just recipes, but how to bake bread and how to make your own preserves (or jam). Write about what interests you most—maybe it's gardening or photography; maybe it's fashion design or interior design; maybe it's parenting/being a parent (and then writing about how great being a parent is). Introduction Sunday mornings are a great time to wind down after a busy week. But if you're like me and need to stay productive throughout the week, it's easy to feel overwhelmed by your hectic schedule. So here are nine things that can help me get more done during the week: 1. Unplug from social media. Social media can be a distraction. It's easy to get sucked into social media and lose track of time, which can be frustrating for those with busy schedules. Social media can be a way to procrastinate. If you're bored and don't know what else to do, scrolling through your news feed may seem like the perfect option! But if we all stopped using social media altogether—or at least cut down on our usage—we'd all have more time for productive activities like homework or exercising (which will help us feel good about ourselves). Social media can make us feel bad about ourselves when comparing ourselves with other people online (or even just thinking about how much

We are often taught life lessons too late. We don’t learn them early enough and when we do, they might not stick. Here is a list of 4 important life lessons which we often learn too late in our lives:  1. Fear of failure is a greater enemy than failure itself  A lot of people do not like to fail. They are afraid of the consequences of failure and so they do everything possible to avoid it. When you live in fear, it can be hard to take risks and step outside your comfort zone because you're worried about what might happen. 2. Give 100% effort without expecting recognition  Anyone who puts in 100% effort is a winner in everything they do. If you're looking to be successful, give all your energy to your work and never stop trying so you can accomplish what you want. 3. Failure and success are only lessons, not punishments  Every failure is a lesson, but the biggest lessons are never forced upon you. Move forward with strength when you’re hit hard, and learn from your mistakes with
